Finally, my OC Mimi (and her little Beldum) in fullbody. A long and most grueling process it was, I must divulge, in the entire construction of the whole piece, and during the sketching period I skived off some work by making her pose in that most ingenious manner.

Anyway, talking normally now. I am also submitting this as an entry for *myris's OC Contest (see her journal for details); but I must thank her for creating this lovely competition that managed to prompt me off my lazy ass to give Mimi the attention she deserves. Should I be in OOC roleplay she would now enter with a snide comment but I digress.

Edit: After a while, I've decided to put a SUPER condensed of Mimi's history, Pokemon, <strike>stalking</strike> weird habit here.. But, if you have the time, PLEASE spare the links a glance. .__.

Born in the suburbs of Petalburg and home-schooled, Mimi's childhood composed mainly of idly drifting around the grassy fields and getting unnecessarily worked up over menial losses. As a result of her upbringing under a single mother and off-and-on father, both whom possessed lackadaisical mindsets towards life, Mimi developed into a very lazy individual, though she had a fiercely competitive streak that was most likely a genetic mutation, as, to the extent of her knowledge, no one else in her family cared at all about winning or losing.

She makes infrequent trips to Petalburg to buy huge stores of junk food from the PokeMart; and, on one of these rare but bountiful sprees, she happened to find a Beldum in a trash can (when pilfering it as she thought it smelt like potato chips), glowing green with radiation. To this day, nobody is sure where Beldum was exposed to such radiation, and even the Pokemon can not recall.

Though not a sympathetic person at the best of times, Mimi felt bad enough for the Pokemon to decide to help heal it. Unfortunately, not schooled in the art of Pokemon nursing, Beldum was not healed properly: rusting easily and unable to evolve, even now. however, he (the gender the Beldum prefers to be referred to) was healed to satisfaction and Mimi decided to raise the little fellow and take him on a Pokemon journey.

She proceeded to Professor Birch's house after obtaining permission from her 'whatever' mother, selecting a male Mudkip from the three starters and had a short battle against Birch's son, Brendan, which she lost quite badly. This loss pissed her off greatly, and was the catalyst for her stalking obsession.

Throughout the earlier part of her journey, Mimi caught an overemotional female Ralts and a highly militant but courteous female Shroomish before challenging the first gym and winning, but only ever so slightly. Then, proceeding southwards, she challenged several Trainers along the way: winning battles she could win, and fleeing battles that she was about to lose, using Smoke Bombs in these cases, despite the fact that doing so was illegal (and as a result she's become somewhat of an infamous character among rural-town sheriffs.)

Mimi, in fact, will do anything just to win: hiding extra Holding Items under her Pokemon's appendages; having her Beldum psychically assist one of her Pokemon in battle from the sidelines, etc. Most people who have battled her have, therefore, antagonized her, and not for a bad reason, either.

Continuing throughout her journey in Hoenn, Mimi caught a single-minded but kindly female Feebas (who stuck to the Trainer's shoulder despite multiple attempts to bodily rid herself of the ' pest' ) and, later, a highly aggressive Bagon whose only appreciable quality was an un-ebbing crush on the later-evolved Milotic.

Simultaneously, Mimi's stalking career blossomed quite horribly for her stalkees. She has a plethora of highly personal items collected from her victims, which she proudly hangs in her Secret Base (location: unknown.) During some of her stalking sprees, Mimi has met, acquainted, and partially befriended fellow stalkers: namely (in anime universes) Harley (stalks: May & co.) and Brianna (stalks: Drew.)

Now, Mimi drifts around the four regions, having collected eight Hoenn badges but not feeling arsed to take on another region's gym or a Pokemon League. In truth she is not a bad-natured person--as seen from her few moments of pity for the less fortunate; just a little... twisted.
